Let’s Square the Circle

The Elena Guaccero Studio came alive with a unique training experience led by Silvia Pichi for RTS Vicenza. The mutant creatures made of coloured wood were the inspiration for managers and administrative directors to address the complexities of professional life. The artist’s sculptures, with their lightness and irony, encouraged participants to listen to themselves and others in order to understand transformations and solutions in everyone’s daily lives.

The comparison, the point of view, the “naming” of feelings and dynamics were conveyed by the movements that Elena Guaccero’s sculptures naturally inspire and encourage. Analysing their curves, angles and mechanisms, the “Scissors” become a versatile tool for observing one’s inner movements. In this place, so steeped in creativity, one may find oneself asking: “Can we square the circle?”
